General Instructions

Installation
- To minimize damage from cold weather on a water system, preventive winter maintenance is required. These steps will help prevent many inconveniences due to frost.
- Turn off the water heater.
- Allow the system to cool and depressurize completely.
- Attach the water blowout adapter to the water system inlet.
- WARNING: Follow the instructions regarding the maximum working pressure of the water system.
- Open the Ball Valve to allow air to flow through the system.
- Drain all water tanks.
- Open all faucets and drain all pipes to ensure water is completely removed.
- WARNING: Never drain the water heater if it is still hot or under pressure.
- Once the system is completely drained, disconnect the water blowout adapter.
Maintenance

Warnings
It is strongly recommended to install a pressure regulator or a SAVEAIR® preset pressure regulator from Series 62 to protect water lines and components from overpressure and prevent possible component failures.
