Installation
- Pipe Thread Nipple: Install a 1/4" (M) NPT pipe thread nipple of your choice in the handle base.
- Use Teflon tape to prevent leaks. Do not over-tighten the thread, as damage may occur, which is considered abuse and is not covered under warranty. (No more than 20 ft. lbs of torque is recommended).
- Bag Slide Installation: Securely install the bag slide by forcing the slide slot over the lower portion of the bag welting. Ensure the slide is fully over the bag center and properly centered to prevent air leaks.
Operation
It is highly recommended to snip one end of the clear flex hose at approximately a 45° angle, as close to the end as possible. This allows air to flow around the end of the tube while in use, increasing performance
Maintenance
Empty the dust collector bag frequently by removing and replacing the bag slide. Fine dust particles may clog the bag and significantly reduce performance. Keep the bag clean.
Warning
Before using the vacuum, read and understand these operating and warning instructions for proper use and safety.
- Safety Goggles: Always wear safety goggles while operating the vacuum. Particles are propelled into the bag at very high speed. Continuous use or abuse may cause the bag to develop a hole, allowing particles to escape and potentially causing serious eye injury.
- Bag Closure: Ensure the bag closure slide is properly installed to prevent particles from escaping. Failure to properly close the bag slide may result in particles escaping, which can cause injury from flying debris.
- Bag Inspection: Frequently check the bag and bag connection for wear or damage. Replace the bag immediately if any wear is detected.
- Air Pressure: Do not operate at air pressures above 125 psi.
